Our Community Spoke

On the evening of Monday, April 19th, we had a Parent's Dinner in our beautiful library.  Organized by Mr. Torres, there were multiple student performances, including one from a local high school theater group.  The night dealt with the saturating level of alcohol advertising in our community and the impact alcohol has on families.  Singing, poetry, photography, and theater were all used by the students to express themselves on this issue.  After the engaging performances, everyone shared a dinner of delicious food made by the teachers.  A big thanks to all involved, especially the students who took part.  It was a great night.
